Brian

is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley (BS Bioengineering, MS Electrical Engineering and Computer Science) and has been a consultant and developer for over 25 years. Among other projects, he developed the Windows version of TagWrite® for Zandar Corporation, the TUBES control program for Pneumatic Tube Products and the software which made Clarke Home Nursing Service a completely paperless health care organization. Current professional interests include embedded control, legacy mainframe hardware interfacing, and document conversion systems for IBM DCF, Bookmaster, Word Perfect, Microsoft Word, Interleaf and XML. He is the author of Windows 7 and Vista Guide to Scripting, Automation and Command Line Tools, and is coauthor and contributor to several computer books including Microsoft Windows 7 In Depth, Special Edition Using Microsoft Windows Vista, and Upgrading and Repairing Microsoft Windows, 2nd Edition, among others.

He also works with Lutherans Concerned and St. Paul's Lutheran Church. A backyard wood-fired brick oven was built. And, of course, there has to be a pet page, a photo gallery and a Norm page.
